When you purchase a new vehicle, the manufacturer provides you with a warranty that will cover the cost of mechanical parts failure. This warranty is voided however, if you do not have your vehicle periodically serviced by a certified mechanic and record and stamp these servicings in your vehicle’s logbook.

Air Conditioning

Driving in the Australian summer without air conditioning can be practically unbearable. Your air conditioning is unique in that it actually degrades more from disuse than use. The multitude of rubber tubing and seals that make up your AC actually dry up and crack if not used, allowing the refrigerant gas to escape and rob your aircon of its cooling power.​

Here at Edwardstown Quality Automatics we are fully equipped to fix your air conditioning. We can swap out faulty compressors and condensers, check your system for leaks and swap out cracked tubing and seals, then re-gas and de-odourise your AC once we’re convinced it’s airtight.​

Radiators & Cooling Systems

if your cooling system is malfunctioning, it causes a myriad of problems, ranging from increased fuel consumption, all the way through to engine damage, and ultimately, cooling system problems can render your vehicle undriveable. Leaking coolant will damage your vehicle’s head gasket, and expansion caused by overheating can lead to major engine failure. If your thermostat fails, this could be happening without your knowing.

Diagnostics & Auto Electrical

As modern vehicles have increased in complexity, the onboard computer has taken on more and more jobs to help provide you with the best possible driving experience. Electronics in modern vehicles handle everything from ignition, braking, monitoring fuel consumption and playing the radio for you as you drive, to pre-emptively putting your vehicle into limp mode to prevent any lasting damage when it discovers a serious fault.

Tyres & Wheels

Manufacturers actually design tyres to continue to provide grip as they wear, designing the treads with redundancies so that as they degrade they still exert a reasonable amount of traction. These designs aren’t particularly helpful when your wheels are misaligned, which causes uneven tyre wear that the manufacturers couldn’t account for.
